Surviving are 3 brothers (Jay, Roger, and Matthew), and 3 sisters (Bonnie-Mrs. Jim Gingrich, Darlene, and Marileu). Funeral services were held at First Mennonite Church on Nov. 4, in charge of Glenn Brubacher and Brice Balmer; interment in First Mennonite Church Cemetery
*Note: Cause of death is incorrect. Timothy lost his life while working for a building moving company. The Mannheim Mennonite Church and the former schoolhouse were being joined together, and in the process of moving the one building, a pulley broke, the cable flew and struck Tim which proved fatal.
ALBRECHT, G. Timothy -- On Friday, Oct. 31, 1980 as the result of an accident, Mr. Tim Albrecht of 132 Hickson Dr., Kitchener, age 23 years. He was a volunteer for care-ring of Kitchener, played ball and hockey for Budd's Industrial team and assisted coaching Cupola Tigers, a minor ball club in Waterloo. Beloved son of Harry Albrecht and the former lucille Jantzi; dear brother of Jay of Calgary, Alta., Roger and Matthew, both at home, Bonnie (Mrs. Jim Gingrich) of St. Jacobs, Darlene of Waterloo, Marileu of Hesston, Kan., also surviving are niece Tara and Nephew Jason of St. Jacobs. The late Mr. Albrecht is resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, Kitchener, Sunday until noon Tuesday, when removal will be made to the First Mennonite Church, Kitchener for 2:30 service with Rev. Glenn Brubacher and Rev. Brice Balmer officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
